That’s right! We have fun serving and learning about Jesus Christ. We’re in the business of training saints. More than anything, we’re here to prepare your child for the work of the ministry.
The ministry team here at faith outreach is committed to strengthening children. How, you might ask? We train your child.
TRAIN:
T - Train children to be functioning members of the body of Christ for the work of the ministry.
R - Reinforce Godly principles, teaching them the way of Jesus Christ.
A - Allow children to act out their beliefs through participation in their own church service.
I - Inspire spiritual growth in all areas.
N - Nurture the children on the Word of God.
Our children’s pastor is Pastor Kenny Johnson and he can be contacted at (210)734-7423 ext. 216.

4. Checking your child into the Nursery includes filling out the information on the Sign-in-Sheet and labeling your child’s belongings, such as bottles, pacifiers, cups etc. 5. Nursery ministers are allowed to take only a certain number of children in each room. This is to ensure the best possible care for each child. 6. VANGUARD YOUTH MINISTRIES “Equipping The Young Saints To Advance The Kingdom Of God”
Youth ages 13 to 18 yrs old meet every Wednesday at 7:00 pm. All youth attend a one- time orientation to share the vision of the Lord for this ministry. We want to set a solid biblical foundation in our youth with a (mandatory) 7 week New Believers Course to face the everyday challenges youth face today (Prov.10:25). We believe they will succeed in life and be mighty men and women of God. Our teachings work parallel with the vision of our church.
The youth meet at our youth sanctuary, where they join in praise and worship, announcements and then they have a 30-minute teaching. The youth then join after class for Fellowship in our Family Life Center. Our F.L.C. is equipped for Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Exercise Equipment and Weight Lifting Equipment. We also have concession stand before and after class for their convenience. Our ministries include drama, dance, music, prayer and evangelism.
Our Vanguard Youth Directors are Jarrell and Jeneil Flowers. For any further questions or concerns they can be reached at 734-7423 ext. 215.

Dance FOCI Dance ministry has a unique, ministry based focus. The origin of our dance choreography originates from prayerful preparation along with professional, experiential input from talented team members. The ministry has an emphasis in four particular areas: Leading people to more freely worship during celebration services; providing ambience for special celebratory occasions; providing for spiritual posturing for Kingdom Campaign events, and networking with other dance ministries throughout the city of San Antonio and beyond to engage in unified ministry projects. The 13 member team is dressed in colorful handmaid costumes, making use of tambourines, ribbons and also flags. For more information about the ministry or concerning ministry appointments please contact Diana Pelayo, our dance ministry coordinator at extension (210)734-7423 ext. 203

StoreHouse The Storehouse is a ministry of benevolence reaching out to serve those who are in need. This ministry is guided by the vision of Faith Outreach Center, which focuses on reaching out to the greater metropolitan area of San Antonio, targeting the multi-racial, urban, and suburban communities, to introduce them to the loving Lordship of Jesus Christ. Food, clothing and household items are offered to all free of charge. Approximately 150 families are served each month. A Bible study is held every Tuesday at 10:00 am and a free lunch is served at 12:00 noon. Prayer request are received from 9:30am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. For assistance or prayer please contact Kathy Patterson, director of the Storehouse at (210) 735 – 3433.
Music Ministry FOCI music ministry has a unique contemporary sound with a goal of assisting the congregation in corporate praise and worship to our heavenly Father. Due to this critical goal we refer to our worship leaders as “lead worshippers”. Focus is placed on each congregate having an intimate relationship with the Father God and then seeking continuous fellowship with Him. The result of such fellowship on an individual level allows for joyous and uninhibited praise, worship and celebration at the corporate level. We believe that music and song in the context of praise and worship which pleases the Father; sets an environment of release to the Holy Spirit to function as He wills.
