SERVICES
Our focus is to become a pillar in the Westend Community. The success of the
family unit has been attacked with poverty and rebellion. The rebuilding of the
family is essential to the success of any neighborhood, city or country. And it
takes the unified effort of everyone to help restore the family unit.
Therefore we believe in unity. Becoming one is a primary focus of the Kingdom
Center. We will be working together with Urban Connections, Frank Garrett Center
and the Resident Council to help in the effort of becoming a fully functional
participant in the restructuring of the Westend Community.
Tutoring for teens
We provide tutoring for the teens in our area. We believe that some of
the brightest minds in San Antonio are in this community. Also, Urban
Connections has tutoring for students in elementary through junior high. The
Kingdom Center will also provide overflow support when necessary for the
elementary and junior high school students in coordination with Urban
Connections.
"VANGUARD YOUTH"
Vanguard means; “front part of army”. Vanguard Youth Ministry will recruit,
train and deploy young people throughout the Westend community with the goal of
taking the community back from the destructive forces of violence, drugs and
moral decadence. Our goal is to restore the youth culture in the Westend
community to one which fosters the development of the full potential of young
men and young women.

Seniors Saints
The elderly are important to the community. We believe that we can learn from
the pioneers of our day. We will provide a time of Bible Study and meaningful
activity to enhance the quality of life for the seniors in this area. Also, free
monthly medical Check-ups will be provided for our Seniors in the Westend
Community.
Angelfood ministries
Angel Food Ministries provides you with $60 worth of quality food for $25
dollars. Angel Food Ministries started with 50 customers in 1995 and now has
over 50,000 families that we feed each month. To order now, contact us at the
Kingdom Center at 733-3017. Angel Food Is payable by cash, check or food stamps.
Movie night
We will be having movies every fourth Friday of each month. We will watch family
oriented movies that are suitable for children and entertaining for both
children and adults. We will have popcorn, drinks and on some days barbeque
plates.

Unified coalition
Faith Outreach Center
International and San Antonio Fighting Back are two unique entities joining
forces to change communities in the San Antonio Area.
There are two parts in family that have been attacked. The first being structure
and the second one is vision. We believe that instilling these parts in the
rebuilding will bring success to families in the families of the Westend
Community.
