Pastor Charles E. Flowers has been the Senior Pastor of Faith Outreach Center, International (FOCI) since March 11, 2001, when his Father in the Ministry, Dr. Dewey “Bud” Gardner, transferred the mantle of leadership over to him. Pastor Flowers is convinced that believers are to recognize their unique spiritual gifts and assignments, realize their potential through disciplined training and personal intimacy with God, organize to ignite the synergistic power among the Saints, and mobilize in order to advance the Kingdom of God. He is originally from Troy, NC. He is married to the love of his life, Janice, from St. Louis, MO and they have four wonderful children; Jarrell and married to his beautiful bride, Jeneil, Kimberly, Marsha, and Richard. 

 He also serves as the Founder and Director of Love Demonstrated Ministries, International – Christian Boot Camp (LDMI-CBC). The mission and vision of LDMI-CBC is to develop young men and women ages 13 – 19 into people of high impact in their generation. The three main components utilize to accomplish the vision are: 1) Christian Boot Camp 2) Strong follow-up Mentorship Ministry 3) CBC Family Conferences.

Pastor Flowers is also the founder and commandant of Christian Military Academy (CMA). CMA combines military style discipline, innovative academic instruction and competitive sports activities to harness the potential and to release the power in those young men and women between the 6th and 12th grades.

Pastor Charles Flowers has been awarded with many prestigious national and local awards for the program that he has founded. Among them are: the Daily Points of Light Award in 2002, receiving a letter from President George Bush and Governor Rick Perry for his notable and outstanding achievements, the Claude Black Outstanding Youth Enrichment Award in 2000, the Bahai Unity of Humanity Award, the San Antonio Express-News’ Jefferson’s Award, as well as a nomination for the Golden Rule Award, receiving a certificate of appreciation from former President Bill Clinton. Most recently, he was awarded a national honor, the Outstanding Youth Leadership Award, awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, DC., in January of 2004. Charles E. Flowers has been summoned to travel around the country as a guest speaker, to serve on numerous panels and to conduct workshops as an authority in the area of family and juvenile relationships. He has received outstanding accolades during these speaking engagements.

He is also a gospel recording artist with two CD’s published entitled, “Tribute to America” and “The Family Saga”.
